William Lodge married to Mary Olphert by Richard LLD P? (looks like Primate) on Saturday June 1, 1770 at Shandboro County Dublin. Present: John and Edwarda Lodge, Leticia Olphert, Richard Olphert, Anne Olphert

Information taken from emails from distant cousins in Northern Ireland:

Wybrants and his brother John Olphertseen of Friesland Holland came to Ireland around 1603. Wybrants Olpherts had a son Allford Olpherts who married a Maria Hayward, and a daughter, Alice who married a William Hillman. Allford and Maria had a son Wybrants, who married an Alica (or Alice)? 1694? she died 1695. Wybrants and Alica had a son Wybrants who married Mary Hodgson and they Had, 1. John, 2.Richard, 3.Thomas, 4.Wybrants, 5.Sarah, 6.Mary, 7.Jane. The eldest son John married Leticia Hamilton and they had, 1.Wybrants, 2.Anne, 3.Mary who married rev.William Lodge of Armagh.

The name Wybrants is a dutch name. Wybrants Olpherts came from Holland to Ireland about 1609 and was granted land in Donegal. For many generations the eldest Olphert son was called Wybrants. The present day Wybrants Olphert lives in New Zealand
